When work was over, I went to downtown for my last Friday night class! I'm so thrilled. I took the bus to meet Erin at Jongak station. I arrived and...she wasn't there. I was a bit worried because she doesn't have a phone that I can contact. I decided I would walk to Insadong, where I had planned for her to go, to see if she was maybe around there. When I got to Insadong, I received a phone call--it was from her. She was with a Korean friend she met in the US and was driving in his car. I told her to go to our original meeting spot and wait for me since I had to walk back. I got there and again she wasn't there, but then I saw her across the street at a different subway exit. I had to motion for her to come to my side.
For dinner, we went to a kimbap shop. There wasn't a lot of time left since I had class and she wasn't really sure what she wanted to eat. I ordered kimbap and she got nengymyeon (a cold noodle soup). I gave her directions and some ideas of places to see while I was at class and then we split. Class went well--I did like this teacher so it will be a bit sad to get a new one. At the end of class we took a group picture. Then I went to go meet Erin at the subway. She was waiting for me in the station and we took the subway home.
We stopped at Emart again to get some snacks for our trip to Daegu, packed and chatted before going to bed.
